Our commitment to a safe, inclusive space
Deccan Queen on Rails is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or technology choices.
We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference at the discretion of the organisers.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, photography or recording without consent, sustained disruption of talks or events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact the conference organisers immediately at hello@deccanqueenonrails.com. We take all reports seriously and will respond promptly.
Your data, handled responsibly
We collect only the information we need to run the conference well. When you join our waitlist, register for a ticket, or submit a proposal, we collect your name and email address. This information is used only to communicate with you about the conference.
We do not sell, share, or otherwise distribute your personal data to third parties, except where strictly required to operate conference infrastructure (e.g. email delivery services). Sponsors do not receive attendee data.
This website uses no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics that collect personal data. We do use aggregate analytics (page views, referrers) to understand site traffic, but these do not identify individuals.
You can ask us to delete any data we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@deccanqueenonrails.com.
